This exquisite set of vintage 1970’s Chinese lithograph reproductions are a captivating set from a Spanish collection of the Palacio Real de Aranjuez. The series is an official reproduction of etchings gifted by the Chinese Emperor to Queen Isabella II of Spain in 1853. These official reproductions are number 3-6 in that series.
Made in Spain with official approval (please see official stamp in photos) the lithograph set is printed on satin paper with a satin finish, showcasing vibrant colors.
The framed pieces measure 19.5” x 17”, ready to hang.
A rare find that bridges Eastern and Western art traditions, it is a true collector’s set with a lovely story to tell.
