Antique Royal Watteau Doulton Blue and White Platter - "Serenade"

This lovely large 19" antique English Doulton Watteau blue and white porcelain platter is in the pattern titled “Serenade”.

The platter depicts five figures in garden scene outside an estate in the style of French painter, Jean-Antoine Watteau. Two couples speak together while a man pours wine into a goblet in this picnic scene.

The size of this platter is unusual at 19”, with most platters measuring a smaller 13” size. This platter would look wonderful displayed on top of a sideboard or in a porcelain cabinet.

Perfect for dinner parties and a must-for blue and white collectors. House-ready.
