Antique Cast Iron Hubley Boston Terrier Doorstop

An antique American cast iron Boston Terrier doorstop, modeled in the round and attributed to the Hubley Manufacturing Company. The hollow figure is cast in two halves, joined at a visible vertical seam running through the head, back, and underside.

The dog stands four-square with an alert posture, upright pointed ears, and head turned to the viewer. Hand-painted details remain on the body and face, showing black coat sections over a tan ground, white eyes with black pupils, and a subtle red line along the mouth.

Dimensions: 10"W x 4.5"D x 10"H

Condition is good. The surface exhibits widespread honest wear, including chipped paint, flaking down to bare metal, and localized surface oxidation across the muzzle, paws, and body.
