Mottahedeh Merian Mist 12" Service Plates - Set of 3

Mottahedeh produced the Merian Mist pattern from 1999 until it was discontinued in 2005. This elegant design features burgundy and gold flowers on a green rim, inspired by Maria Sibylla Merian's 1685 botanical illustrations. The illustrations were inspired by an early 18th century export plate in Merian's personal collection. Merian Mist is based off the floral motifs from the export plate.

The pattern is now discontinued, but pieces can still be found through various retailers and collectors.

House-ready.

Please note the bamboo easel is not included in this purchase.
