PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY CHINESE BLUE & CELADON VASES WITH HANDLES
Elegant pair of late 19th century Chinese porcelain vases, finely decorated in underglaze cobalt blue over a soft celadon ground. Each vase features classical Chinese imagery with flowering branches, rockwork, and stylized birds, rendered in a balanced and painterly composition characteristic of the period. The gently balustered bodies are accented with applied sculptural lug handles to either side, adding both visual interest and traditional formality. The softly flared necks and subtle celadon glaze give these vases a refined presence, making them ideal as a decorative pair on a mantel, console, or flanking a cabinet or doorway.
